Cryptid Quarterly I (2024): My Top 10 List of Cryptid Fiction from the First Quarter

(Editor’s note: Cryptid Quarterly is a feature where I highlight cryptid horror fiction from each quarter of the year, using Amazon Kindle release dates.)

I love Sasquatch and enjoy reading cryptid horror fiction. I even write a column for HorrorAddicts.net called The Bigfoot Files. I also compile The MalevolentDark.com Horror Fiction Top 25 chart, where I painstakingly try to find all the latest horror releases each month and then rank them according to my personally developed points system.

In my monthly search for the Horror Fiction Top 25, I usually find several cryptid horror titles among the releases, so I thought why not use the information I gather about those releases and create a quarterly list for other readers like me who enjoy cryptid horror. And voila, my Cryptid Quarterly feature was born.

So, without further ado, here’s my list of the Top 10 cryptid horror fiction releases from January 1 through March 31, 2024, along with 15 honorable mentions worth checking out. Clicking on the book titles takes you to their Amazon pages.
